Overall: We tried bumGenius on our twins. The selling point for us was that they fit from 6 pounds to 35 pounds, which meant that both twins could use them. Our daughter is a feather at 20 pounds, and our son a bit huskier at almost 30 pounds. These fit our 20 pound daughter perfectly, and we soon thereafter pushed our disposable diapers aside and stick to these for 90% of her diapering. Although the diapers claim to be up to 35 pounds, they did not fit our son. They left him with red marks on his thighs. So we kept him in the disposables and were only saving the planet just under 50% of the time.
We have never had a leak. Our daughter looks totally comfortable in them and quite cute, might I add. These really became our “go to” diapers.
Price: Any diaper that costs $16.95 strikes you as being too expensive. But when you weigh in the fact that you are not buying any more disposables it actually evens out. Knowing that we can hold onto these to use on future children from birth through well into toddler-dome.
